Cancellation &
Refund Policy

Cancellation Window

Customers may cancel a scheduled shipment without penalty up to <strong>72 hours before the confirmed pickup time</strong>. Cancellations made within 72 hours of pickup may be subject to a cancellation fee to cover dispatch and scheduling costs already incurred.

Refunds

Shipments cancelled <strong>72 or more hours before pickup</strong> are eligible for a partial refund of the amount paid, minus any non-recoverable booking or processing fees. Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days of the approved cancellation.

Lost or Damaged Shipments

In the event of loss or damage during transit, Big Dog Logistics Group will file a claim on your behalf through our carrier insurance. Customers will be kept informed throughout the claims process. We recommend declaring accurate shipment value at booking to ensure proper coverage.

Pet Transportation

Due to the nature of live animal transport, cancellations for pet transportation services must be made at least <strong>72 hours in advance</strong>. If a transport is cancelled after a handler has been dispatched, a partial fee will apply. The safety and wellbeing of all animals in our care is our top priority.
